Hey! I'm Vee, a queer, non-binary multidisciplinary creative based in the North of the UK and the person behind Studio Vee.
Studio Vee was born from years of exploring different creative paths. My background spans literature, journalism, digital marketing, social media management, content creation, and art. For a long time, I felt like I had to choose just one thing to focus on, but then I realised that creativity doesn't have to fit neatly into a single box, and neither do I!
Alongside running Studio Vee, I work as a freelance journalist and digital marketer, using my creativity, passion for community and love of storytelling to help people tell their own stories and connect with their audiences. Whether I'm writing an article, creating content, managing social media, or designing a zine, my work is always rooted in communication, creativity, authenticity, and self-expression.
about me
my creative journey
My own work is usually inspired by queerness, nature, wildlife, arts and culture. Through handmade zines, stickers, prints, and other creative projects like social media and my blog, I create work that feels relatable, inclusive, and fun while exploring the topics that mean the most to me. I'm usually working from my bedroom desk, fuelled by anime binges, YouTube video essays, ever-changing hyperfixations, and an emotional support matcha nearby.
At its heart, Studio Vee is a space for creative freedom, storytelling, and self-expression. It's built around my journey of self-acceptance and my desire to create community through art and writing. I hope my work reminds people that there's no single "right" way to exist, your path can be messy, fluid, creative, and entirely your own!
Thank you for supporting an independent queer creative and all the dreams behind Studio Vee! x
